Jeopardy! International Tournament was the modern Jeopardy's second international tournament to and take place during episodes of the syndicated version. Featuring the three-week, two-round format as the traditional tournaments on Jeopardy!, it was held in honor of the tournament and offered a $25,000 top prize. The event's first round ran from May 5th-14th, 1997, and ended with the champions of all three games, as well as two non-winners with the highest scores, moving on to the finals. The three final matches were televised from May 5th-7th, 1997 with the finals airing from May 8th-9th.
The tournament was filmed in Stockholm, on the set of the Swedish version of the show.
