The Jeopardy! Teen Tournament Summer Games was held on July 16-27 and was the modern Jeopardy's third and last best-of reunion week for teens, Featuring the two week, five-round format as the traditional tournaments on Jeopardy!, it was held in honor of 2008 Summer Games, and offered a $75,000 top prize. The event's preliminary round ran from July 16-20, and ended with the champions of all five games, non-winners with the highest scores, moving on to the finals. The quarterfinal and semifinal matches was televised from July 16th-25th, with the finals airing from July 26th and 27th.

  • This is the first time in history that a competitor won a come-from-behind victory in the second round despite not scoring in the final. Later, at the 2017 ToC, Buzzy Cohen set this record second.
