Aaron Charles Carter (born December 7, 1987, died November 5, 2022) was an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, dancer and record producer. He first came to fame as a pop and hip hop singer in the late 1990s, establishing himself as a star among pre-teen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 21st century with his four studio albums. He died on November 5, 2022 at his home in Lancaster, California at the age of 34 (one month shy of his 35th birthday) in the bathtub after authorities found an overdose of drugs in his body. He appeared on Figure it Out as a panelist in a 1998 episode. He is survived by his brother, Nick Carter of The Backstreet Boys. He is predeceased by his sister Leslie Carter who died in 2012, also dying from a drug overdose.
