Trivia[]
The series is a spin-off from Dance Moms. In fact, some of the contestants went on to do episodes of Dance Moms.
The series was original titled as My Kid Can Dance.
This series was named after dance instructor Abby Lee Miller, who also judged on the show.
In 2020, another dance reality competition series called Abby's Virtual Dance Off[1]was going to also be aired on Lifetime as well but was cancelled due to Miller's racists remarks during the filming of season 8 of Dance Moms although later she apologized for her behavior.
