Adriana Harmeyer (born August 6, 1989) is an archivist from West Lafayette, Indiana. She is the 17th Jeopardy! champion with 10 or more wins in regular-season play.
They defeated the champion who had won four games in a row and became the new champion.
Both lost their positions to male champions, and their first appearances and departures took place on the same day of the week (Julia's was Monday and Adrianna's was Wednesday).
Both finished in third place. The difference was Adrianna was in third place before the last Final Jeopardy and Julia was in second before the last Final Jeopardy before dropping to third.
Both were in second place before FJ in their regular season runs. Ray in his 11th consecutive win against Emily Kawaler, and Adriana in her 13th straight win against Kaitlin Tarr.
FJ holds the record for correct answers more than 10 times in a row.
All subsequent champions succeeded in consecutive wins.
