In the fifth quarterfinal match, he faced against Eric Floyd and Kyle Hale, answered twenty-five responses (including one DD) right and two wrong. He entered Final Jeopardy with a runaway. However, there was a Triple Stumper, lost $0 and it was enough to be in the semifinals.
In the second semifinal match, he went up against Mark Dawson and Jill Bunzendahl Chimka, answered fifteen responses correctly but he missed one. However, he was the only contestant to not come up with the right response, lose $2,000, and it wasn't enough to be in the finals, taking home the $10,000.
Ultimate Tournament of Champions[]
Two years later, he returned for the UToC. In the fourth match of the first round, he went up against David Traini and Janet Wong, answered twenty-one (including 1 DD) responses right and four wrong (including one DD). However, in the FJ!, he got the right response, added $6,000, but it wasn't enough to advance to the second round, took the $5,000 home.
Trivia[]
- He shared a $600,000 prize with Ethan Brosowsky and his "pub quiz" team comprising Ethan, Alan, Brad Rutter, Jonathan Dinerstein, Adam Stein and Rebecca Ward on Million Dollar Mind Game aired on November 27, 2011. They met each other in O'Brien's Irish Pub Quiz in Santa Monica, California.
