Alfonso Ribeiro (b. September 21, 1971) is an American actor, TV director, dancer, and game show host. He was first recognized in the Broadway musical The Tap Dance Kid back in 1983. He was also famous for being one of the characters on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The role that he played was Will Smith's cousin, Carlton. During the time Fresh Prince was on the air, he also directed some episodes as well, but he was famous for hosting GSN game shows such as Catch 21, GSN Live and a talent show called Your Big Break. Ribeiro was also a contestant on shows like Celebrity Duets, Nickelodeon Wild & Crazy Kids, and Pyramid. He was the winner of the 19th season of Dancing with the Stars. Since 2015, he has been the host of America's Funniest Home Videos, replacing Tom Bergeron.
