Alone is a reality documentary series where it follows the day-to-day lives of ten contestants who are isolated on the island of northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia all-the-while competing to be the last man in order to win a cash prize of $500,000.
Premise[]
Ten survivalists experts are dropped off in remote areas of Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia with limited gear and cameras to self-document their journeys. Attempting to live in the wild for as long as they can, each contestant is placed in isolation from each other having to hunt for food, build shelter and fend off predators while enduring extreme isolation and psychological distress. The show concludes with a single contestant left, winning the grand prize of $500,000.
