America's Got Talent: Extreme (also known as AGT: Extreme) is a spinoff of America's Got Talent where it mainly focuses on stunt performers.

Premise[]

The series brings together some of the world's daredevils from the international "Got Talent" franchises, spanning 194 territories and come to share their talents and compete against one another in an Olympics-style ultimate celebration of worldwide creativity and talent.

  • Some viewers compared this show to a similar show on TBS called the Go-Big Show.
  • Escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was hospitalized following an accident during a rehearsal in which he was crushed between two cars in mid-air and fell to the ground whilst trying to escape a straitjacket. A spokesperson confirmed on October 15, 2021[1]that production had been temporarily suspended.
  • The series was originally going to premiere in the summer of 2021. However, on January 19, 2022, it was announced that the four episode series will premiere on February 21, 2022[2]as it pushes back American Song Contest (Based on Eurovision Song Contest) on NBC's winter schedule to March 21 due to COVID-19 related concerns.
