Are You a Genius? was a juvenile radio quiz show that gave children a chance to see if they were geniuses (hence the name of the show). It aired Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
CBS Radio (Daily): 4/13/1942 – 1/8/1943
Host Chappell would ask a total of ten questions, each of which had a maximum point value of 10 (which meant that a perfect score of 100 was the best). Each broadcast had a theme, and all ten questions were centered around that theme. The questions themselves were not meant to be difficult like most genius-based questions; they were purely general knowledge that everyone should know.
Unlike most quiz and game shows, there were no real prizes whatsoever; whoever had the highest score was announced as that day's genius.
