Premise
The studio audience was divided into seven sections representing different subject cateories. Listeners sent in questions, and the questions were offered by auction to the members of the appropriate section, with raises limited to $1. The high bid became the prize for that question, and the high bidder was given the opportunity to answer. A correct answer meant that he/she would share the prize money with the listener who submitted the question; an incorrect answer meant that the listener would receive a consolation prize.
