A Bargain is from the second round Bargain Trap from the short-lived 80s daytime game show Bargain Hunters.
History[]
If one of the players picked a "bargain", then they get the item. If both players picked two bargains, leaving only the trap, then a tiebreaker was played. Both players wrote down what they believed was the mark-up added to the actual price of the trap. The player who came closest won.
Design[]
In the series, the word "bargain" was the same as the logo for the show behind a blue circular globe; in the pilot, the word "safe" in bold white letters is printed on.
