In the second quarterfinal game, Bernie faced off against Beverly Spurs and David Cuneo. Throughout the first two rounds, Bernie came up with a perfect score of 14/14 correct questions. Bernie and David both got Final Jeopardy! incorrect, but after losing to Beverly, they received $1,000 since their final scores of $799 and $0, respectively, were not enough to advance by wildcard.

Ultimate Tournament of Champions[]

In the 35th round 1 game, Bernie faced off against Pat Healy and Kyle Hale, Throughout the first two rounds, Bernie came up with a perfect score of 15/15 correct questions (including 1/1 Daily Double). Nobody got Final Jeopardy! correct, but after losing to Kyle (who had $14,999 in a come-from-behind win; taking $15,000 with him as he advanced to round 2), Bernie and Pat received $5,000.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?[]

Five years after Cullen's streak of five wins on Jeopardy! he went on to play Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. He managed to get to the million dollar question and answered it correctly, making him the eighth person to win the million dollars in Millionaire history. He won the million dollars just five days after Kevin Olmstead won the $2.18 Million.
