Big Fan was a short-lived ABC primetime game show based on a segment from the late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live called Who Knows….

Format

Three contestants competed to see who knew more about the stars they idolized. Each week, a famous celebrity was invited to the show and all the contestants playing that night were fans of that celebrity. The rounds they played were named for the guest celebrity. Only one of them would survive the battle and face the celebrity one-on-one.

Round 1

Andy would ask a series of multiple choice questions about the guest celebrity and the contestants would secretly lock-in which choice they each thought was right (either A, B or C). Each correct answer was worth 100 points. The player with the lowest score was eliminated from the game.

Round 2

The two surviving players were told a series of secrets about the guest celebrity. They each decided in secret whether the upcoming secret was true or false. Correct answer were still worth 100 points. The leader at the end of this round went on to face the celebrity in the final round.

Tiebreaker

In each of the first two rounds, if either of them or both of them ended in a tie, Andy would ask a numerical question to the tying players. The player with the closest guess advanced.

Final Round

Andy would ask a series of toss-up questions about the guest celebrity. The first player to buzz-in with the correct answer scored the point. The player with the most points won a little real fan.

End of the Show

At the end of each show, the guest celebrity had a big surprise for the night's winner (similar to All Star Secrets).
