Bingo at Home was a play-along bingo game show which ran for a full hour each weekday.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay was similar to Bingo, but people had to play at home to win the prizes in the studio. Also, special groups played along in the audience as well.

Trivia[]

During the show's run, on September 7, 1958, WABD's call letters changed to WNEW as part of an overall name change from DuMont Broadcasting to Metropolitan Broadcasting.

The show appears to have had ratings issues from about mid-July 1958 onward, leading to its two primary sponsors (General Foods and Standard Brands) pulling out at the end of November.
