Robert William “Bob” Barker (born December 12, 1923) is an American former television game show host. He is best known for hosting CBS' The Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007, making it the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history. After holding the job for 35 years and having been on television for 50 years, Bob retired on June 15, 2007.

  • On March 25, 2009, Bob Barker has visited The Price is Right as a guest to promote his new autobiographical audiobook Priceless Memories.

  • On April 1, 2015, Bob Barker came out of the Big Doors instead of Drew Carey as an April Fool's joke. He hosted during the first One Bid and first pricing game of the show that day which was Lucky Seven.
