Tournament Of Champions[]

In the first quarterfinal game, he faced 6-day champions Hunter Appler and Pranjal Vachaspati. He gave twenty-one right responses and three wrong responses. Everyone got Final correct. His big wager advanced him to the semifinals. Pranjal's $16,401 got him a wildcard while Hunter's $1,400 was not enough to get him a wildcard, eliminating him from the tournament.

In the second quarterfinal game, he faced 2016 Teachers Tournament winner Jason Sterlacci and 6-day champion Lisa Schlitt. He gave 22 correct responses (incluidng one DD) and four wrong responses (including one DD). He was the only player to get Final right and advanced to the finals.

In the finals, he faced 6-day champion Alan Lin and 12-day champion Austin Rogers. In game one, he gave ten right responses (including one DD) and three wrong responses. Final Jeopardy was a Triple Stumper after Austin had iPhone, crossed it out, and changed it to iPad. He lost everything. In game two, he gave eighteen right responses (including one DD) and no wrong responses. Final Jeopardy was another Triple Stumper. He only wagered $1,301 and took home $250,000.

All-Star Games[]

Cohen appeared again in the 2019 Jeopardy! All-Star Games relay tournament. His team, filled out by 6-time champion and fellow ToC winner Alex Jacob and Teacher’s Tournament champion Jennifer Giles, took home $75,000 split between the three of them after failing to advance past the wild card match. Also, after that, while hosting inside Jeopardy, it became the last broadcast in which he acted as a participant in this program.

Guest Hosting Duty[]

  • He appeared as a guest host from May 17 to May 28, 2021, and guest hosted that year’s Tournament of Champions which saw 5-time champion Sam Kavanaugh take home the $250,000 prize and the championship belt. He was considered by many the best guest host of the 16, and many people have started the hashtag #HireBuzzy on Twitter.
  • As of August 1, 2022, he is starring in Inside Jeopardy! alongside Michael Davies and Sarah Whitcomb-Foss.
