NOTE: This is the week where the Range Board car game is launched. This version of the car game is played similar to the "Judge the Jury" round on the 1979 series Mindreaders, with a scale of numbers 0 to 10. The contestant places a blue diamond on a number s/he believes is right.

To accompany its launch, Gene Wood's opening spiel is changed to "Answer just one question, and you can win this sporty jeep (or truck)/beautiful car." Such opening spiel would be modified again early in August.

Kristin does not win the car. New challenger Dan (a.k.a. Dan Dan the Muffin Man) is Kristin's opponent in a new match. Dan may be the only contestant in the series to wear a baseball cap on the set. Match between Kristin and Dan continues on the next program. There are no educated guess questions in this episode.
