NOTE: This is the week where the Range Board car game is launched. This version of the car game is played similar to the "Judge the Jury" round on the 1979 series Mindreaders, with a scale of numbers 0 to 10. Contestant places blue diamond on number s/he believes is right.
To accompany its launch, Gene Wood's opening spiel is changed to "Answer just one question, and you can win this sporty jeep (or truck)/beautiful car." Such opening spiel would be modified again early in August.

Sometime in August, Lacey would leave the show to go on maternity leave. Lacey's son, Travis, was born sometime in August. After Lacey left, a different guest model would accompany Suzanna each week until Lacey returned in December.
Also, sometime this week, Gene Wood's opening spiel would be changed one final time to "You can win this sporty jeep (or truck)/beautiful car with just one answer.", which would be used from this point forward.

November
NOTE: Ep. 722 (originally aired on CBS on November 1, 1988) has never been shown on GSN since its inception. There is rumor it was originally intended to air on GSN early in 2005, but may have been pre-empted due to a Johnny Carson tribute, which I am pretty sure such tribute aired on a Saturday, and I definitely remember seeing the Halloween episode (Ep. 721) on a Sunday in early 2005.
