Round 1[]

"We play with a standard deck of cards. The object of the game is to make as close to 21 as you can without going over. Catch 21 exactly, and you're an instant winner. We shuffled and cut the cards before the show, and now it's time to deal." (Season 1 only)

(Once you have a hand that you like, and you're the one in control, you can freeze.) You'll get 100 points for each correct answer, and 500 points for winning the round. "No more questions, we're just gonna deal the cards." (If there's only one controlling player left to play the cards)

"Welcome back to Catch 21. I'm here with (insert player who won the game) who just won $1,000 and now has a chance to play for $25,000. Now, (insert contestant's name), what would you do if you win all that cash?" (2019 Revival)

"Until now, you had to play with/work with only one hand, but now, you're gonna play with three. We've got a new deck that's been shuffled and cut [backstage], so, we'll start you/things off by dealing you one card for each hand. All right, Mikki, deal the cards." (2008-2011)

"It's a/an (insert card)." - Mikki Padilla/Witney Carson (dealing the cards for each hand)

"Now, the object is to Catch 21 exactly, do that with one hand, and you'll win $1,000. Catch 21 twice, and the money jumps/climbs to $5,000. But/And, if you manage to Catch 21 in all three hands, you will win... $25,000!" (Season 1-2 only)

"Until now, you had to work with only one hand, but now, you're gonna play with three; the object is to Catch 21 exactly, do it once, and you'll go home with $2,500. Catch 21 twice/two times, and you'll go home with $5,000, and if you Catch 21 in all three hands/three times, you'll leave with/win a [grand] total of $25,000!" (2019 Revival)

"But be careful, because if you bust any (one of the three) hand(s), you will lose everything, except the $1,000 you won earlier, so if you want to stop/quit, just say so." (2008-2011)

"Now you can stop at anytime, because if you go over on any hand, you will walk away with $1,000 you won earlier." (2019 Revival)

"You've won 1/2/3 power chip(s) from the one/two round(s)/all three rounds you won (, plus/and [I'm gonna give you] one more for being our champion. 2/3/4 power chips.) Each Power Chip allows you to get rid of a card you don't like and draw a new one, so use them wisely." (2019 Revival)

"A new deck has been shuffled and cut, so we'll start you off by dealing you one card for each hand. All right, Witney, deal the cards." (2019 Revival)

"Now from this point forward, where you place the cards is completely up to you." (2019 Revival)

"Now, I’ve got to ask you the question.

  • You have $1,000/$5,000 on the board, $1,000 from earlier, total of $2,000/$6,000. Do you want to take the money you have and stop, or do you want to continue playing and possibly walk out of here with $25,000/$50,000?" (2008-2011)
  • You have $2,500/$5,000 on the board. Do you want to take the money you have and stop, or do you want to continue playing and possibly walk out of here with $25,000?" (2019 Revival)

"Remember, a Power Chip is not a Stop Chip. It is a Power Chip. A Power Chip only forces you to see the next card. You can only stop after you have played a card."

"Anything more than (insert hand higher than 21), and you'll/you will bust (, and [you'll/you will] lose $1,000/$2,500/$5,000)."

"You just won $25,000/$50,000!" (when a player catch 21 in all three hands)

"Okay, you walk out of here/go home with $1,000/$2,500/$5,000. But, just for fun, (out of curiosity,) we need to see what you could've won: ($5,000, or possibly) $25,000." (when a player catch 21 in one or two hands and decides to walk away)

"Which means, you've busted. But you're not going away/home empty-handed, you still walk away/go home with $1,000 you won earlier." (when a player has busted in one of the three hands)
