Child Support is a game show where studio contestants get help from kids in another room, whenever they are having trouble answering a question.

Gameplay[]

A variation on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, contestants must answer ten questions with the help of children. Unlike that show, however, the kids are in another room being asked the same questions by Ricky Gervais.

Everytime a contestant gets a question wrong, the top amount on the money ladder is removed, and the player must hope one of five kids backstage answered the question correctly. If not, the game ends and they leave with nothing. Questions four and eight give the player the chance to leave with however much they've earned up to that point. Answering all ten questions correctly is worth $200,000.

Starting with Season 2, if a player loses, instead of leaving with nothing, they leave with $500 per correct answer given by the children.

Question Correct Answer Value
1 $1,000
2 $2,000
3 $5,000
4 $10,000

6 $50,000
7 $75,000
8 $100,000
9 $150,000
