Chopped: Next Gen (or Chopped: Next Generation) is a spinoff of the reality competition series Chopped that mainly focuses twenty young, hip and "hungry" chefs bring their cutting-edge culinary skills and fierce determination.
Premise[]
Four chefs compete in each hour-long episode through three rounds to bring a youthful spin on dishes never seen or tasted before. Only one chef walks away each episode with the cash prize and bragging rights in adding "Chopped Next Gen" champion to their growing resume.
Trivia[]
This was not only the second spinoff of Chopped to be aired on its streaming service Discovery+ but was also aired in the same year, the first was Chopped 420 hosted by Ron Funches.
