Christopher Michael Hewett (b. 5 April 1921 – d. 3 August 2001) was a British actor and theatre director best known for his role as Lynn Aloysius Belvedere on the ABC sitcom Mr. Belvedere. Hewett died on August 3, 2001, from complications of diabetes at his home in Los Angeles. He was 80.
