In the fifth quarterfinal game, he faced 4-day champion Ashok Poozhikunnel and 2013 Teachers Tournament winner Patrick Quinn. He gave twenty correct responses (including 1 DD) and five wrong responses (including 1 DD). In final, he was the only player to got the right response and wagered enough to get to the semifinals. His opponents didn't score high enough, eliminating them from the tournament.

In the first semifinal game, he faced 4-day champion Jason Shore and 5-day champion Kristin Morgan. He gave 21 correct responses and one wrong response. In FJ!, everyone answered correctly, giving Kristen a spot in the finals[1].
