On a March 3, 2006 episode of the drama series Las Vegas (not to be confused with the city of the same name) called "Coyote Ugly", features an appearance of Howie Mandel himself in which he "left" the set on DOND and "arrived" at the Montecito.

The title of the episode was a reference of the musical comedy-drama film from 2000 based on the saloon of the same name.
DOND was parodied on Saturday Night Live ( or SNL) three times. On an April 8, 2006 episode with Antonio Banderas then a May 17, 2008 episode with Steve Carell respectively. Ironically enough, both show aired on the same network (NBC). 11 years later, on a January 19, 2019 episode as a cold opening, it was briefly parodied again as a "Government Shutdown Edition" featuring the logo from the short-lived CNBC reboot where the partial government shutdown appears to be at a crossroads. Instead of Mandel, it was hosted by Steve Harvey (portrayed by Kenan Thompson) introducing Donald Trump (portrayed by Alec Baldwin) to the game noting to him that "We decided to do this in the only format you can understand, a TV game show with women holding briefcases". So it was that a host of Washington contenders and pretenders held the secrets suitcases, urging Trump to take their deals and end the shutdown.
The formerly popular satire magazine MAD parodied DOND in issue #466 (June 1, 2006) as Dull or Not Dull? in four pages written by Dick DeBartolo and illustrated by Hermann Mejia, hosted by Howdy Mundane (a parody of Howie Mandel).
NOTES:
In the first panel, there are some people in the world of game shows who appeared in the panel such as the late Regis Philbin, Vanna White wearing a red dress who's holding the vowel "E" on her white card and Anne Robinson (appearing in the third panel). Speaking of the late Philbin, he made a guest appearance himself on an actual episode of Deal or No Deal on May 15, 2006.

In the second panel, there were also references to Mundane dressed as a doctor even calling himself Dr. Wayne Ficus, a character played by Mandel in the 1982-88 classic medical drama series St. Elsewhere and a rubber glove on his head, one of Mandel's signature trademark comedy acts in the 80s.
In the fourth panel, Mandel's character Bobby Generic from the 1990-98 animated series Bobby's World (who has a picture of two milk bottles in his thought bubble) makes an appearance. Generic made an actual guest appearance on an episode of Deal or No Deal on February 12, 2007.

In the fifth panel, a Gremlin was featured underneath a contestant's desk as of which references the character Gizmo who was voiced by Mandel from the classic 1984 comedy horror film Gremlins.
On a June 15, 2006 episode of online animated series SuperNews! called "Iran: Deal or No Deal?" spoofed DOND as Nuclear Deal or No Deal where Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad becomes a contestant on the show and features such as: "Get Nuked", "Get Bombed", "Get Occupied", "Economic Sanctions", "Economic Incentives", "Destruction of Isreal", "Get Nuclear Power Plant" and "Get Nukes".

In 2006, DOND was ranked #26 by Game Show Network (or GSN) as one of The 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time, the special was hosted by Bil Dwyer.
On an August 11, 2006 episode of the short-lived sketch comedy show on E! appropriately titled The Chelsea Handler Show parodied the show as Meal or No Meal (not to be confused with the 2007 Sesame Street parody nor the Sonny with a Chance 2009 episodes "Sonny and the Studio Brat" & "Promises Pro-Misses" of the same name) hosted by Howie Mandela (a cross between Howie Mandel and the late Nelson Mandela).

The show 30 Rock has a share of references and parodies of DOND, in the October 25, 2006 episode called Blind Date the show can be head in the background.
In the November 8, 2006 episode called "Believe in the Stars", when Jack asks Tyler that if he would like to host DOND in his own home, he holds up the board game of the show.
In the January 18, 2007 episode called "The Head and the Hair", the show is spoofed as Gold Case hosted by John McEnroe (former host of The Chair).

In the February 15, 2007 episode called "The C Word" a hobo version was mentioned as Hobo or No Hobo.
In the October 4, 2007 episode called "SeinfeldVision", a clip is shown with Jerry Seinfeld being digitally inserted into a contestant.

On a November 10, 2006 episode of the short lived TV Guide Channel prank show Trapped in TV Guide hosted by former Growing Pains star Tracey Gold (a.k.a. Carol Seaver). The show was inspired as a prank in the segment "Hard Cases".
DOND was parodied on MADtv twice on November 25, 2006 with Ty (portrayed by Jordan Peele) and Carl (portrayed by Keegan-Michael Key) mostly known as "The Superstitious Knights" and later on April 14, 2007 with a guy named Jerry (portrayed by Ike Barinholtz) as contestants. Michael MacDonald (the comedic actor not the singer of the same name) portrays Howie Mandel in both parodies.

On a 2006 episode (originally November 27, 2006) of the short-lived dramedy show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip called "B-12", DOND was briefly mentioned and spoofed during Mandel's opening monologue.

In the May 9, 2007 episode of the drama series Medium called "Heads Will Roll", Allison Dubois (portrayed by Patricia Arquette) dreams of becoming a contestant on DOND but only to be accused of cheating after picking the six lowest amounts in order from Round 1.

In July 2007, for the second & final episode of the short-lived comedy/documentary series called Assume the Position with Mr. Wuhl, the show was briefly spoofed as Real or No Real hosted by comedian and former star of the hit sitcom Arli$$ Robert Wuhl where his students determine whether four various famous food icons such as Chef Boyardee & Aunt Jemima were either real people or not.
NOTES:
This features four young women wearing hot pink ATP U shirts holding briefcases but instead of cash they hold signs that contains the words "Real" or "No Real".
The names of the four briefcase girls are: Erika Hamilton, Mimi Karsh, Leah O'Donnell & Katie Russell.
Deal or No Deal was parodied on Sesame Street from a August 16, 2007 episode "4138" as Meal or No Meal (not to be confused with the 2006 parody from The Chelsea Handler Show nor the 2009 episodes from Sonny With a Chance called "Sonny and the Studio Brat" & "Promises, Prom-Misses" of the same names) hosted by "Howie Eatswell" (a parody of Howie Mandel). Instead of cash inside the cases, food is inside to make a meal (hence the name of the title) along with being held by only five models instead of twenty-six on the show. Instead of the banker, it is the "baker" that is making the offer. It turns out that the baker making all the meal deals is Cookie Monster. When Eatswell tells the contestant that there was 100 cookies on Dish #2, Cookie jumps out and eats the cookies.
In the hour-long September 23, 2007 episode of Family Guy called "Blue Harvest" DOND was briefly parodied where Vader (Stewie Griffin) board's Leia's ship looking for the plans, while Leia (Lois Griffin) has hidden it in one of the 26 briefcases, In the end Vadar/Stewie wins very little money but nevertheless is just happy to be on TV.

NOTE: This episode in particular was a parody of the classic 1970s film Star Wars.
DOND was briefly parodied in the 2008 (originally released on January 25, 2008) box office flop Meet the Spartans where Xerxes (played by Ken Davitian) offers a "deal" to Leonidas (played by Sean Maguire) that if he surrenders, then he and his people would go on a vacation.
NOTE: The film is a parody of the 2006 epic period action film for which in turn is based on the 1998 comic book series of the same name called 300.
On an August 28, 2008 episode of the short-lived, reality competition spoof series Reality Bites Back called "The Amazing Disgrace", it had a brief parody of DOND which had two female models in red dresses holding two briefcases where according to its host Michael Ian Black If it says "Stay", then Amy Schumer & her sister Kim will be in the finals, but if it says "Go", then they would be permanently going home. According to Amy, she claims that "I always was really excited to get to pick a case 'cause I've always wanted to do that without having to meet Howie Mandel!". Amy chooses #2 as her briefcase where inside the second case had two Barbie dolls in pink dresses holding two briefcases. However, in that case, Amy chose #1 where inside the smaller briefcase it says "Stay" as both Amy and her sister stays in the competition.
The Disney teen sitcom Sonny with a Chance spoofed and referenced DOND twice. In the April 26, 2009 episode "Sonny and the Studio Brat" When Sonny Munroe (played by Demi Lovato) first meets Dakota Condor (played by G. Hannelius) the underprivileged girl, there is a poster for Meal or no Meal (Not to be confused with The Chelsea Handler Show 2006 nor Sesame Street 2007 parodies of the same names) which is a parody of DOND.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: This episode also featured a poster for Tween Gladiators which was a spoof of the short-lived 2008 NBC revival of American Gladiators.
Also in the May 3, 2009 episode called "Promises, Prom-Misses", Nico & Grady (played by Brandon Mychal Smith and Doug Brochu respectively) try to dance with some of the girls from Meal or no Meal (Not to be confused with the 2006 parody from The Chelsea Handler Show nor the 2007 parody from Sesame Street of the same names).
Fellow DOND models Claudia Jordan, Megan Abrigo, Leyla Milani and Lisa Gleave represented DOND as the won The 2009 Game Show Awards on June 6, 2009 (hosted by Howie Mandel) for "Favorite TV Game Show Models".
A 2009 episode of Catch 21 featured a celebrity edition with fellow DOND models Marisa Petroro, Patricia Kara and Leyla Milani. Kara won the main round with $1,500 for her charity ($500 bonus for scoring the first 21 in the game) and winning an additional $1,000 in the bonus round for a grand total of $2,500.
The 2009 rap album appropriately titled Deal or No Deal by Wiz Khalifa is a reference title of the show itself.
In November 2010, Jessica Robinson appeared as one of the interviewers for GSN's on going ad campaign called "The World Needs More Winners".
In February 2011, a porn parody film called the Official Deal or No Deal Parody was released. Produced by 3rd/Third Degree where it stars Alexis Texas as a model who opens a lot more than just her briefcase. She's part of the "deal" along with an hilarious cast of horny contestants that can barely grasp the rules of the game but end up getting down and dirty with every move, even the banker (played by Mr. Pete) gets blown. The person who plays Howie Mandel was Michael Vegas this also featured an appearance by "The Hedgehog" himself Ron Jeremy as Habner Fagler.

On a November 1, 2012 episode of the cartoon series MAD, in the skit "Dark Knight at the Museum" you can briefly see a photograph of two models holding cases #13 & #6 respectively on purple stairs with Black & White balloons in the background respectively (basically representing DOND of course) in a gallery called "Game Shows".

DOND was briefly seen in the opening credits of the 2013 romantic comedy-drama film Don Jon.

In the 2014 episode of the black comedy crime drama series based on the eponymous 1996 movie Fargo called "Morton's Fork", a family named the Solverson's as of which consisted of a father, a daughter and a mother can be seen watching an episode of DOND on TV.
A 2016 episode of the Netflix original adult animated series BoJack Horseman called "The BoJack Horseman show"; during a daytime drive by, a billboard of Eel or No Eel ( can be briefly seen on top of a store called Washington Mutual as of which in turn is a parody title of Deal or No Deal.

On a February 21, 2019 episode on the syndicated talk show called Ellen (or The Ellen DeGeneres Show), similar to the Saturday Night Live/SNL cold opening skit of January 19, 2019; after congress avoided a second government shutdown by making a "deal" between democrats & republicans, the host (DeGeneres) "found footage" of Trump playing an episode of the CNBC version of DOND featuring Nancy Pelosi as "The Banker".

NOTE: DeGeneres herself appeared on an episode of the original NBC version of DOND as one of the "briefcase models" in 2008.
In the November 20, 2020 episode of the YouTube series The Annoying Orange, called "Ask Orange #66: TNT ABC's!", a fan wants to see a parody of DOND called Peel or No Peel (a pun on the show's title), where Orange, Pear, Marshmallow, and Midget Apple decide whether the apple has a peel or not. Turns out the apple is nude and has no peel by disgusting everyone.
