Dylan Lane (born July 18, 1977) is an American television game show host. Although Lane was born in Tyrone, he was raised in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Huntingdon Area High School in Huntingdon.

Early Career[]

From 2006-2007, Lane hosted the game show Chain Reaction that airs on GSN, succeeding Geoff Edwards, who hosted the show from 1986-1991. During Lane's first run as host of Chain Reaction, he appeared as Justin Carter on The N series What Goes On. He is also the host of the National Vocabulary Championship, another production of GSN. Previously, Lane was a VJ on Fuse TV, having hosted The F-List and co-hosted Daily Download.

Personal Life[]

According to his profile on Game Show Network, Lane attended Muhlenberg College, majoring in Philosophy and studying Theatre, and currently resides in Astoria, New York with his wife and two daughters.

Trivia[]

Lane was also involved on VH1's Tool Academy (season 2)'s first episode, in which he played the host in the "Party King" competition before the real competition started.

In 2021, Lane reprised his role as host of Chain Reaction.
