Professors Tournament[]

In the fourth quarterfinal game, he faced Ramón Guerra and Julia Williams. He gave 30 correct responses (including two DDs) and two wrong responses (including one DD after finding one of them) and entered Final with a lock game. He was the only player correct in Final. He advanced to the semifinals, whereas his opponents' scores were insufficient to earn them a Wildcard, eliminating them from the tournament.

In the third semifinal game, he faced Gary Hollis and Deborah Steinberger. He gave 23 correct responses (including one DD) and five wrong responses. Final was a Triple Stumper, he wagered $5,000 and advanced to the finals.

In the finals, he faced Sam Buttrey and Alisa Hovy. In day one, he gave 14 correct responses (including one DD) and two wrong responses. Again, Final was a Triple Stumper and he wagered $5,200. In day 2, he gave 22 right responses (including one DD) and four wrong responses (including one DD). He did not get Final right, wagered $13,700 and took home $50,000 for first runner-up.

Champions Wildcard[]

In the ninth quarterfinal game, he faced 1-day champion Nick Heise and 2-day champion Sandy Olive. He gave 23 correct responses (including two DDs) and four wrong responses and entered Final with a runaway. Final Jeopardy was a Triple Stumper, he bet $0 and advanced to the semifinals.

In the second semifinal game, he faced 2-day champions Jen Jazwinski and Amy Bekkerman. He gave 26 correct responses (including one DD) and only one wrong response. Although Amy and Jen got Final right, he wrote down hydrogen, crossed it out, and did not had time to change it to the right response. So he lost the game and took home $10,000.
