Elizabeth Banks (born Elizabeth Irene Mitchell (not to be confused with another actress named Elizabeth Mitchell) on February 10, 1974 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts) is an American actress, director, producer and game show host. Banks is known for her starring role as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games film series (2012-15), Rita Repulsa in the film Power Rangers (2017) and as Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the Pitch Perfect film series (2012-17). And long before that, she was receptionist Betty Brant in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man.
