(After Interview Clips)

"This is Famous Last Words...! And this week our special guests are from Mama's Family, Vicki Lawrence! From Falcon Crest, Abby Dalton! From Trapper John M.D., Charlie Siebert and from Three's Company, Richard Kline! And now, here's your host, Geoff Edwards!"

Famous Last Words... was an unsold pilot focusing on the different sides of celebrities and what they said in interviews.

Gameplay[]

Main Game[]

Two teams of two celebrities and one civilian contestant, completed in this game focusing on other celebrities.

Prior to the show, several weeks back, several celebrities were being interviewed while secretly being videotaped. These interviews focus on their personal feelings, opinions, thoughts, etc., about themselves and the world around them. It's up to the teams to predict how they answered. Correct predictions score points, with 100 points needed to win the game.

Round 1[]

One player from the team in control was shown two celebrities, and then has to decide which star to take. Geoff would then read a question previously posed to the selected star, followed by two possible quotes. Each player on the team in control then chose which quotes the selected star said. The team scored 10 points for every player on that team who chose the right quote. After each question, the chosen celebrity got replaced with another. This process goes on for six questions.

Round 2[]

In this round, each team was faced with two celebrities and one quote. The team's job was to guess who said that quote. In a twist, the celebrity partners will decide first, and then the contestant captain can decide to either agree with either of the partners if they chose differently or agree or disagree with both if they chose the same. But in order to score, the contestant must agree correctly. Each correct answer was worth 30 points. This round continued until one of the teams reached 100 points. First team to do so wins the game.

Bonus Round[]

To start the bonus round, the winning contestant was given $250. Then Edwards read a half-statement to each celebrity, and then each celebrity wrote down their answer to complete each statement. Their answers were recorded and for each, a bogus statement pre-written by the staff was thrown in to throw off the winning contestant. Now the winning contestant would play each celebrity one at a time. (s)he'll be given two choices for each and his/her job was to choose the one written by the celebrity. For every correct decision, the contestant's money was doubled, making the highest possible amount, $4,000.
