Donald John Trump Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessman, tel personality and author. He's the owner, chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. He once owned three hotels but sold one of them to Landry's restaurants.
Donald is also active in the TV industry having had one of his hotels be the studio/setting for the short-lived Trump Card. For years he's the producer of several beauty pageant specials having owned the Miss Universe Organization, but what made the Donald very recognizable on TV is the NBC hit reality show The Apprentice and its celebrity version, a show which he produces & hosts alongside Survivor producer Mark Burnett.
On Tuesday, November 8, 2016, Donald won the 2016 United States Presidential Election, beating Hillary Clinton. He and running mate Mike Pence became President and Vice President of the United States on January 20, 2017. His presidency lasted until 2021, where he was defeated by Joe Biden in the 2020 Presidential Election.
