Making It (with Amy Poehler & Nick Offerman) is a uniquely lighthearted Arts & Crafts reality competition series that celebrates the creativity and craftiness in all of us. (Keep in mind that this should not be confused with the short-lived sitcom and David Naughton one hit wonder song from 1979 of the same name mostly called "Makin' It".)
Premise[]
The show features craftspeople skilled in different mediums competing to be named the "Mater Crafter" and win $100,000. Each week, competitors make two handmade projects -- a "Faster Craft" and a "Master Craft". The winner of each challenge earns a patch. For the Faster Craft, makers have three hours to create an item. For the Master Craft, they have a longer time to create a more elaborate themed collection. At the end of every episode, one person is sent home based on their performance in the Master Craft.
Australian Version[]
An Australian version appropriately called Making It Australia hosted by Susie Youssef & Harley Breen airs on Network Ten since 2021. The series originally aired on Wednesday & Thursday nights but due to poor ratings, it was pushed to Saturday nights since its seventh episode.
Trivia[]
The first season only had a six-episode run, since season 2 & 3 both have an eight-episode run.
