Melissa Margaret Peterman (born July 1, 1971) in Minneapolis, Minnesota is an American actress and comedienne who was best known for playing Barbara Jean in the hit WB/CW sitcom Reba and was formerly playing Bonnie Wheeler in the ABC Family/Freeform sitcom Baby Daddy from 2012 until 2017. Peterman's first appearance on the big screen was in the 1996 film Fargo playing Hooker #2. Since then she has become a well-known actress. In 2001, she got the role of Barbara Jean Hooker Hart in the sitcom Reba, for which she co-stars with Reba McEntire.
