This version of the Generation Gap involves answering pop culture questions from each other's generations.
Gameplay[]
Pairs of grandparents and grandkids in teams are being challenged to answer questions about pop culture from each other's generations. There were two teams in season one and three starting in season two.
Main Game[]
In most rounds, Kelly would ask questions to contestants about the opposite generation. Answering correctly would win money for the team, but answering incorrectly would give the direct generation on both teams a chance to steal for half price. In round one, questions are worth $500 with $250 awarded for the steal. For most other rounds, questions are worth $1,000 with $500 awarded for the steal.
At the end of the game, both teams keep the money they earned, but the team that won more money proceeds to the bonus round, explained below.
Toddler's Choice (Bonus Round)[]
A little kids of the winning team is brought out and is faced with a choice of two big prizes. One is usually a car and the other is a prizes made just for kids. Whatever the toddler takes, is what the winning team wins.
