Grease: You're the One that I Want! was a variety reality talent tryout game show based on the famous movie Grease.
Premise[]
This was a talent game show similar to shows like The Voice and High School Musical: Get in the Picture. The show held auditions all across the country and they were looking for the next Sandy and Danny. The teams were split up into colors. Whichever man and woman had the best voice and impression of the duo won the game and as a grand prize, starred in the Grease Musical on Broadway.

International Versions[]
A British version called Grease Is the Word (in which the title alone is based on a 1978 opening theme sung by Frankie Valli for the main vocals and Barry Gibb doing backup vocals only) was aired on ITV1 also in the same year.
