When Chuck explains the Tower of Greed / Super Greed
"Every team has a common foe around here, and we call it the "Tower of Greed." Here's how the tower works: We start out with $25,000, going in $25,000 increments all the way to $100,000. We double it to $200,000, go on to $500,000, double it to $1,000,000 and double it one more time to $2,000,000."
"Every team has a common foe around here, and we call it the "Tower of Greed." Let's take a look at it: It starts out at $25,000, going in $25,000 increments all the way to $100,000. We double it to $200,000, Because it's Super Greed week, we've excluded the $500,000 mark, we go straight to $1,000,000, we double that to $2,000,000, we double that at $4,000,000." - Super Greed
"Anytime a group/team misses a question, they lose everything / they're out of the game instantly. (insert name), you're the captain, you'll have some responsibilities here. You decided how far up the Tower of Greed the team can go. You can stop after each correct answer and keep the cash, and you can also reject any answer a teammate gives you, and replace it with one of your own."
So if you're ready, let's play Greed" (regular Greed).
So if you're ready, let's play Super Greed" (Super Greed)
"Here is your (insert dollar amount) question."
"Accept or reject that answer?"
"For (insert dollar figure), is it (insert answer)?"
"Questions are gonna get harder/tougher now! Each one will have 4 correct answers, and you'll depend on your teammates to come up with those answers."
For Regular Greed, "The category for the $200,000/$500,000/$1,000,000/$2,000,000 question is (insert category)."
For Super Greed, "The category for the $200,000/$1,000,000/$2,000,000/$4,000,000 question is (insert category)."
"Would you like keep the cash, or do you feel the need for Greed?"
"That's the sound of the Terminator. The Terminator gives a player a chance to eliminate another player and take his/her money by challenging them into a One-Question Showdown, or they can keep the team where it is. But to sweeten the pot, I'm gonna give the challenger $10,000 to play the Showdown win or lose."
"I will now activate the Terminator."
"(insert name), the Terminator has chosen you. Is there anyone here on this team that you like to call out for their position and their money? I will give you $10,000, win or lose"
"I want to call out / challenge (Insert name)." - (If contestant has been chosen by the terminator and wants to challenge someone)
"I want to keep the team the way it is." - (If contestant has been chosen by the terminator and chose not to challenge someone)
"(Insert challenged contestant), you've been challenged. (Insert challenged contestant), you'll be on the right, (Insert challenging contestant), you'll be on the left, and (Insert challenger), here's your $10,000, win or lose".
"I'm gonna ask you one question. Remember, players, please wait for me to finish reading the entire question in order to buzz in. If you buzz in too early/soon than that, (even if the answer is correct or not,) you'll automatically be disqualified." (Explaining about Terminator Showdown that the players must wait until Chuck finishes reading the entire question in order to buzz in and answer; from the premiere episode of November 4 to December 2, 1999)
"I'm gonna ask you one question. Remember, on Greed: The Series, you can buzz in anytime when you think you know the answer." (Explaining about the Terminator Showdown that the players can buzz in at anytime when they think they know the answer starting December 9, 1999)

On a $2,000,000 Question
- Rules have changed after the $1,000,000 question for regular Greed which happens only on 11/18/1999. Daniel is the captain for the team and by controlling the team. However, his power of making the decision over team has been eliminated. He doesn't have that power anymore and that's a good thing because each player would make up their own decision to see if you want to take the chance for the $2,200,000. If you chose to take the money that you already have won, press the red button. If you want to take the chance for the $2,200,000, press the green button. If all three wants to go on for $2.2 MILLION, then Daniel would play for $440,000 while Curtis and Melissa would play for $880,000. If any of two wants to go for the $2.2 MILLION; Melissa and Curtis would go but not Daniel ; Melissa and Daniel would go but not Curtis ; or Curtis and Daniel would go but not Melissa - then it would be down to two which means that each of them would play for $1.1 MILLION while one of them is out. If only one player wants to go on for $2.2 MILLION, then he/she will play all alone for $2,200,000.
- If keep the three players on Super Greed, Both of (insert name) and (insert name) are playing for $800,000 while (insert name) will play for $400,000
- If keep the three players on Super Greed, Both of (insert name) and (insert name) are playing for $400,000 while (insert name) will play for $1,200,000
- We're down to two players on Super Greed, (insert name) will play for $1,600,000 and other player will play for $400,000.
- We're down to two players on Super Greed, (insert name) will play for $1,200,000 and other player will play for $800,000.
On a $4,000,000 Question for Super Greed
- Things will be kind of different after the $2,000,000 question for Super Greed which happens only on 5/5/2000 going into 5/12/2000. Phyllis was the captain for the team and she doesn't have that control anymore because each of each player would have an individual decision to see if they want to take the chance for the $4,000,000 question. If you want to take the money that you already have won, press the red button. If you want to take the chance for the $4,000,000, press the green button. If all three wants to go for $4,000,000, then Phyllis would play for $800,000 while David and Lauren would play for $1.6 MILLION. If any of two wants to go for the $4 MILLION; Phyllis and Lauren would go but not David ; David and Lauren would go but not Phyllis; or David and Phyllis would go but not Lauren - then it would be down to two which means that each of them will play for $2 MILLION while one of them is out. If only one player wants to go on for $4 MILLION, then he/she will play all alone for $4,000,000.
- If the three players on Super Greed chose to go on, Both of (insert name) and (insert name) are playing for $1,600,000 while (insert name) will play for $800,000
- If the three players on Super Greed chose to go on, Both of (insert name) and (insert name) are playing for $800,000 while (insert name) will play for $2,400,000
- If two players on Super Greed chose to go on, (insert name) will play for $3,200,000 and other will play for $800,000.
- If one player on Super Greed chose to go on, he/she will play all alone for $4,000,000.
