Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses was a four-week event series that showcases Wizarding World fans who are willing to put their Harry Potter knowledge to the test for the ultimate honor to be named House Cup champion along with celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the film franchise itself.

Premise[]

This bracket-style competition features fans competing for their Hogwarts house (i.e. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw & Slytherin) in teams of three. Houses go head-to-head in four epic battles just by answering hundreds of Wizarding World trivia questions with help from the live audience to unveil which house knows the intricately detailed universe like the back of their hand. Winning teams of each round advance to the grand finale to determine who takes home the Tournament of Houses champion trophy. Along with the trophy and bragging rights, the winning house is awarded with a trip to Wizarding World locations across the East Coast.

Trivia[]

Although Mirren is the hostess of the series, she never appeared in any of the Harry Potter films at all.
The show is a part of Cartoon Network's block dubbed "ACME Night".
This was the first competition series that was based on Harry Potter, three years later, the second is Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking hosted by James & Oliver Phelps that aired on Food Network in 2024.
