Hayley Marie Norman (born on March 3, 1989 in Thousand Oaks, California) is a model, actress & TV personality. She is best known as case model #25 on the hit NBC series Deal or No Deal. She was one of the most recognizable models on the show for her big curly hair. In fact, one Deal or No Deal contestant who also admired her hair was once approached by Norman.
Hayley is of Russian, German & African-American decent. Her father Greg Norman was once a pro baseball player. In fact he was on the Detroit Tigers when the team won the World Series. Hayley's great uncle is William Beaudine, an American film actor/director that might've prompted her to go into the entertainment business.
Hayley's been modeling since she was seven years old. At that young age, she joined the Screen Actors Guild. Hayley even did some ads for Mattel's African-American Barbie doll. As she grew up, Hayley turned away from auditioning for modeling jobs to study acting. Norman attended a performing arts high school in her birthplace LA; during summer vacations, she studied at the California Institute of Arts, where she became a two-time prestigious California Arts Scholar. After graduation, she was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where many performers including Anne Bancroft, Lauren Bacall, Robert Redford, and Adrien Brody attended.
Starting in 2003, she made guest appearances in TV shows including Brothers & Sisters & The Young and the Restless. Then in 2006, Hayley was chosen to be case model #25 on Deal or No Deal; she did the show for three seasons and often times she took some time off to do other projects.
Starting in 2007, Hayley Norman started to do movies. Her first was the Eddie Murphy comedy Norbit. In 2009, Hayley appeared in the high school comedy Fired Up, which was plagued with bad reviews & minimal box office sales. However, longtime movie critic Roger Ebert praised Hayley for her personality, performance, and smile. Her most recent movie was Our Family Wedding, which also starred former Ugly Betty star America Ferrara.
More recently, Hayley has been showcasing her comedic talents as part of the cast of the online comedy group College Humor. She's also appeared several times on the truTV series "Adam Ruins Everything" hosted by Adam Conover, which was spun off from Adam's recurring College Humor skit of the same title.
