"It's time to find out, what's America's searching for on HEY YAHOO! And here's your host, Tom Cavanagh! MALE VOICE: Yahoo!"
Hey Yahoo! is a game show that asks the search engine Yahoo! some questions. Based on Weird Things People Search For by Big Potato Games.
Gameplay[]
Two teams of three need to answer fill-in-the-blank questions by predicting what America searches for on Yahoo!.
Main Game[]
In the first two rounds, a question is posed, and five of Yahoo's top searches are revealed, with only the first letter showing. Each result is worth a different amount of money, which decreases from top to bottom. When an answer is picked, an additional letter is revealed, a correct guess wins the money and control passes to the next teammate. An incorrect guess removes the player from the round, if all three guess wrong, control passes to the opposing team, who has a pick of the remaining answers. Should a team guess all five answers in a row, they win a bonus. Each round has two questions.
In Round 1, the first answer is worth $100, every answer thereafter decreases the amount by $25 until the fifth answer which is worth $10. Clearing the board won an additional $100. These amounts double for Round 2.
Top Topics[]
In this round, six categories are presented. The trailing team picks three categories, each containing three answers worth $75, $150, and $200. A letter appears after each guess, and when one team is done, the opposing team must try and beat the opponent's score. Whichever team has the highest score wins the game, keeps the money, and moves on to the bonus round.
Bonus Round[]
Seven categories are presented. After picking one to start with, the team has 60 seconds to guess all seven answers. As before, letters appear after each guess, and passing is allowed. Getting all seven correct wins an additional $10,000.
