The original British version (also hosted by Vernon Kay) aired on ITV from 2 April (April 2) until 22 May (May 22) 2005.
For the American version, the show’s title is abbreviated (seen above) as "Hit Me Baby 1 More Time".
The show's title is a reference of a hit 1999 pop song by Britney Spears of the same name even though they are not related to each other.
