Trivia[]
This is the first live-action TV show based on the Hot Wheels toy line. All the others were animated shows. The first show was in fact called Hot Wheels and produced for ABC from 1969 to 1971. The second was the animated Family Channel TV series, Heroes on Hot Wheels, which was the American version of the French cartoon comic book adaptation Michel Vaillant.
This aired the same day as the premiere of the 18th season of America’s Got Talent.
