Hypnotize Me is an American adaptation of the British game show You're Back in the Room where contestants work together in teams and are being challenged to complete through a series of simple everyday tasks all the while being hypnotize.

Premise[]

The show features physical comedy and unpredictable situations as contestants work together in teams and are being challenged to complete a variety of simple, everyday tasks from frosting a cake to blowing up balloons... after being hypnotize. With big money at stake, these contestants need to work together as a team, but their entranced state causes hysterical hurdles that unwittingly sabotage their progress.

Gameplay[]

The team will be playing 6 games in total. For the first 5 games, the team are trying to win up to $20,000 for each game. But before the game starts, Barry will hypnotize all of the players into anything that could hinder any progress of the team. All the money the team won will be added to the pot, which will be up for grabs in the final game, up to $100,000.

Final Game[]

Players will have to collect a bunch of balls from 3 different color clocks that’s above them. When the clocks flashing, the golden balls will be released and they can collect the balls. For the first part of the game, they’ll collect the balls without hindrances from Barry. But after 30 seconds, Barry will stop any progress and hypnotize the players one last time to hinder any further progress. For each ball the team collected and successfully put into the Hypno Bowl, they wins a small portion of the pot. If they can get 50 balls or more, the team wins the entire pot.

Trivia[]

The original working title was You're Back in the Room.
In 2017, The show was originally supposed to air on the FOX[1]network but it never did.

Although it has nothing to do with this show, the title is referenced in this rap song "Hypnotize" by the late Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Biggie Smalls) from 1997:

"Biggie, Biggie, Biggie can't you see, sometimes your words just "hypnotize me".
"And I just love your flashy ways, guess that's why they broke and you so paid".
