James William Ercolani (born June 8, 1936-died September 2, 2024) known by his stage name James Darren, is an American television and film actor, television director, and singer. He is known for roles in the movie Gidget, as James Corrigan in the police drama T. J. Hooker starring William Shatner and co-starring Adrian Zmed & Heather Locklear and as Vic Fontaine in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1998–1999).
