He was the only player who got Final incorrect, but after losing to Lori (in a come from behind win), James received $1,000 and Zach received $2,000.
Second Chance Week 1[]
In the third semifinal game, he faced off against Renée Russell and Pam Schoenberg. Throughout the first two rounds, he came up with 21/22 correct responses (including 2/2 Daily Doubles). Renee finished Double Jeopardy with -$800 and was out of Final. James got Final correct and advanced to the finals. Pam received $2,000 and Renee received $1,000.
In the finals, he faced off Jessica Stephens and Molly Karol. Throughout the finals, he came up with a combined 38/47 correct responses (including 2/4 Daily Doubles). Everyone got 1/2 Final Jeopardy correct, but after losing to Jessica (in a come from behind runaway win), he received $20,000 for first runner-up.
