The first time, I was only 21 years old, and it was just really exciting, because when Jeopardy! first came on 30 years ago, I knew I had to be on. It was just really exciting to--to finally be on the show and see whether I could win or not.
Regular Play[]
On the September 25, 1990, he first appeared on Jeopardy! and won five games and accumulated $49,300.

Tournament of Champions[]
In the November of the following year, Scott returned to the stage for the 1991 Tournament of Champions (aired November 4-November 15, 1991). He won the tournament and took home the $100,000 grand prize.
Ultimate Tournament of Champions[]
In 2005, Scott was brought back for the Ultimate Tournament of Champions, where he faced off Jerome Vered and Michelle Clum in the fourteenth quarterfinal game of Round 1. He answered ten responses right and one wrong (including 1 DD), however, Jerome beat him and Michelle by $13,201, taking home the $5,000 for finishing in 3rd place.
Battle of the Decades[]
In 2014, Scott was invited back to play in the Battle of the Decades tournament. He faced with India Cooper and Chuck Forrest in the first game. He answered the nine responses right and three wrong responses, but in the FJ!, Chuck beat him and India by $27,200, taking home the $5,000 for finishing in 2nd place.
