Tournament of Champions[]
In the second quarterfinal match, Kara went up against Brian Meacham and Roger Craig. Despite getting 10 of her clues right, Roger had a dominant Double Jeopardy turning it into a lock game for him. However, her score of $6,012 (and her being the only one to get the Final Jeopardy answer right) was enough to make her a wildcard semifinalist. There's a funny moment on this quarterfinals, Alex reads the clue "If Andy yearns for Brenda & Brenda cares about Charlene who pines for Andy, the 3 of them form one of these." She responded with "What is a... threesome?", her shocked looks and the audience laughs. Roger respond the correct response, "What is a love triangle?". Alex said, "Kara has obviously had much more experience than I".
In the second semifinal match, Kara went up against Buddy Wright and fellow wildcard Jay Rhee. She did not fare well in this game ending up in the red at the start of Double Jeopardy and she's out with only $12.
