Lynn Redgrave (b. 8 March 1943 – d. 2 May 2010) was a British actress & singer and prominent member of the acting Redgrave family.
In the 80s & 90s, she was the spokeswoman for Weight Watchers frozen dinners. During her time with Weight Watchers, she was known for her signature tagline "This Is Living".
She discussed her health problems associated with bulimia and breast cancer. She was diagnosed with the latter in December 2002, had a mastectomy in January 2003 and chemotherapy. She died from breast cancer in her Kent, Connecticut home on May 2, 2010, at the age of 67. Her brother/actor Corin Redgrave (who also had been a cancer patient in his last year) had died less than one month previously, on April 6 at the age of 70. She is survived by her three children, her six grandchildren and her elder sister Vanessa.
Lynn's funeral was held on May 8 at the First Congregational Church in Kent, Connecticut. She was interred in St. Peter's Episcopal Cemetery in the hamlet of Lithgow, New York where her mother, Rachel Kempson, along with her niece, Natasha Richardson are also interred.
In 2012, the Folger Shakespeare Library acquired Redgrave's collection of personal papers and photographs.
