Master of the Mix was a three-seasoned DJ (Disc Jockey) reality competition series that is set to find America's best DJ.
Premise[]
The seven competitors had various wide-ranging experiences. Some had Grammy Award nominations, others had sold millions of albums still others had worked with some of the most popular recording artist in the world. Among the DJs were those of the Rock Steady Crew and EPMD. During the series, the DJs competed in various challenges at venues across the world and most episodes would have eliminations. The surviving DJ who was chosen as "Master of the Mix" would win the sponsorship of Smirnoff as their official DJ at international Smirnoff-sponsored events for an entire year. The total value of the prize package, which included custom-made Smirnoff bottles was $250,000.
