Matthew Anthony Napolitano (b. July 29, 1990 - d. December 23, 2023)[1] was a Fox News Radio anchor and sports reporter from Franklin Square, New York.

He was a contestant on an episode of Wheel of Fortune, aired on January 21, 2016. He won Wheel of Fortune and went to the bonus round. In the bonus round, he lost $50,000 when he did not solve the correct bonus puzzle. His total for the game was $25,203 cash, plus a trip to St. Lucia.

Jeopardy![]

He was a contestant on the last episode of Season 36 of Jeopardy, aired on June 12, 2020. He ended the game in second place with a consolation prize of $2,000.

Death[]

Matt passed away on December 23, 2023, on Saturday from an infection a couple of days before Christmas; he was just 33.[2] He had been battling an autoimmune disease for nearly 20 years before his passing. His funeral service was held at Krauss Funeral Home in Franklin Square, New York, on December 28, 2023.[3] He was laid to rest and buried at the St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York, on December 29, 2023, Friday afternoon.
