Tournament of Champions[]

In the first quarterfinal game, Maureen competed against Megan Wachpress and Ryan Long. Maureen remained behind the pack for the whole game, besides getting all but one of her questions right. However, a good FJ! wager was enough to send her to the semifinals.

In the first semifinal match, Maureen competed against Tyler Rhode and Amy Schneider. Maureen was not in the best shape in this game only answering four clues. After a costly incorrect Daily Double, both her and Tyler were unable to catch up to Amy who locked her spot in the final.

Trivia[]

  • Following Max Levaren (S19), Deborah Fitzgerald (S24), Michael Bilow (S32), she became the third participant to advance to ToC among the participants who exited the final Regular Game without completing the FJ!.
  • As she advanced to ToC, she became the third case where participants who competed three times in a row advanced to ToC.
  • Unlike Max Levaren, who advanced to the ToC semifinals on her own, she advanced to the semifinals on her own, which is especially valuable because she achieved this by beating the champion with 6 consecutive wins and 16 consecutive wins. Although she came down in the semifinals after answering only 3 questions correctly, she became an upset among all previous champions, so it can be said to be a great achievement in its own way.
