Nicholas Scott "Nick" Lachey (/ləˈʃeɪ/ lə-SHAY; born November 9, 1973, from Harlan, Kentucky) is an American singer-songwriter, actor, producer, and television personality.
Lachey rose to fame as the lead singer of the multi-platinum selling boy band 98 Degrees.
In 2002, Lachey later starred in the reality television series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica (running on MTV from 2003 until 2005) with his then-wife, Jessica Simpson who was then divorced from her in 2006 after a four-year marriage.
Today, he's married to TRL host and 1998 Miss South Carolina Teen USA, Vanessa Minnillo since 2011.
He has released two solo albums, Soule and What's Left of Me. He is also known for his recurring role as Leslie St. Claire on the television series Charmed.
